Default Redirect to a notice and/or message

Here is how this modification will work.

I have a sub-forum called, "Contact a staff" to report issues. Such as a member flamming another member, or whatever the reason it is.

Since other user(s) can't view the thread, nor the author that created the thread. I was wondering if, once they submit the topic. They'll get a message saying that we have received the topic and we'll get right on it with a PM'ed respond. This way, they don't have to send a PM to 1 staff and bother the crap out of them. All the staff will be able to view this thread, and whoever can help, will help that user.

I'm running 3.6.8 and hopefully this can help out other community.

One idea would be to set vBulletin Options -> Cookies and HTTP Header Options-> Remove Redirection Message Pages to no and edit the 'reportthanks' phrase to whatever you want it to read. Another idea, if you do not want redirection messages in multiple locations, is to edit the 'reportthanks' phrase to whatever you want it to read, find the following line in the report.php file, and add the bit in blue bold so a redirection message appears upon report:
Code:
	eval(print_standard_redirect('redirect_reportthanks', true, true));

I'm not aiming for the "Report" button.

It's so member(s) won't PM'ed a stuff that might be busy to help him/her.

So, I want a sub-forum that allows them to post and let all the staff view it. However, they can't view it nor the other members that aren't in the Moderator and Administrator rank level.

State it in bold in the forum description? Like "You will receive a response by PM, please be patient" or something similar.

Yeah ok so maybe some people will be dumb enough not to read it, but its a heck of a lot better then going to the trouble of making a mod :P
