Moderators can adjust other users' groups.
I run a forum with loads of user groups, and, as it currently stands, only admins can switch user groups.
I'd rather certain users, or members of certain usergroups, can change other's usergroups, without having to give them limited access to the Admin CP. I did manage to find this mod, which was pretty much what I wanted, but it doesn't work on v3.6.8. I posted in the thread about a week ago, and also sent the author a PM, but no response. I also had a go at doing it myself, but being completely new to it, I couldn't manage it . Ideally, I'd like a system that'd allow something like; If user is in group x, can change usergroups a, b, c. If user is in group y, can change usergroups d, e, f etc. If there is a vb v3.6.8 compatible mod which can do this, or something similar, then please let me know. If not, then hopefully someone who actually knows what they're doing (unlike me) will be able to create their own mod which can do this. If that's quite a bit of work, then I'd happily do hardcoding on some files if someone could tell me how. |

Bumpage. I managed to find something that would also be useful for what I wanted, but that doesn't work with 3.6.8 either, and the developer is last shown to be online 2 years ago - Clan Hack Mod.

I'd be interested in this as well.
