<font color="darkgreen">How would I dynamically modify one of the dropdown menus to insert items. I will end up wanting to do it with a hook too. Template/php page hacks are kind of a last resort method here. Everything I find is on adding new complete dropdowns.

I've seen a dropdown (plugin) hack that was made a while ago which allows you to insert links via Admin CP. It's somewhere here...

Hmm, but thats the Admin CP. I want to add just a couple of items into the Quick Links dropdown menu. I dont think there is a hook location for it?

Edit: I have already searched before posting but everything is related somehow.

Edit2: I found a hook - navbits but am unsure if its what I need?

I definitely need this. If nobody can find anything i suppose i could take the quicklinks out entirely and recreate it with one of those "add dropdown to navbar"..
