Here's what I'm trying to accomplish...
On the WYSIWYG editor, I'd like to be able to select a graphic button that pastes (or puts, however it should be worded) a specific .gif into the post whenever the member clicks that button. For instance...this is my graphic button in the editor... ![]() This is what I want it to display whenever someone selects the button... ![]() The purpose of this graphic, is for a member to highlight a challenge of another member, to support their unsupported argument/claim (I run a debate site: www.onlinedebate.net). So instead of someone having to say "Please support the claim" (which happens quite a bit), and possibly it getting overlooked or easily ignored...a graphic representation would highlight the challenge. I've created a BB Code for it, but because it's a BB Code, the poster has to put some sort of text between the [challenge] tags. Rather a nuisance. It's a clumsy way to get the job done, I'm looking for the right way. How can I have a graphic displayed in the post, by clicking on a button in the editor? bumpage. |

How about just using it as a smilie?

Yeah, that's another way, but it would require using the larger graphic (the entire word "Challenge") and not the smaller one ("C") which would be pretty "in your face" on each and every post bit.
