So i'm even finding the basic steps to code php hard...GRRRRRRR

a good tutorial is to read vBulletin codes like a text... it's pure english in most cases, and there is logicals, maths and arythmetics... if you are more than 17 years old, sure you know these bases from the school... :0)
and w3schools.com is not a good place for learning php... the best place is php.net, they are the creators of the script. |

Personally I think it makes no sense to buy a book when Google contains all the knowledge one would ever need on coding.
