Greeting/Info page for Restricted VB
I'm in a unique situation where I am the admin of a very small VB that only allows Members from within our industry so I require that the prospective member be verified that they are in the "business" before I allow them into the site.
The problem is that I want to share what type of info we have, features, etc without divulging the actual messages or even the titles of the threads in the VB. Is there any type of greetings page or pages that I could insert in front of the VB to share some basic info? I would like to place a link to the log in area and also route them back there when they log out. I had hoped that someone else has been in this catch 22 before me and have solved this problem. Any help would be appreciated. Phil |

I see where your coming from, but we don't allow non "industry" applicants into the site so I can't share the exact info to all that want to apply, Only those that are actually in the business.
But on the other hand, we do want those in the business to have enough interest in the site to make it through the registration process. So I though a place to be able to explain in very general terms the broad spectrum of subjects that we cover, how the "Polls" work, Recent Comments from others etc,, I may just need a simple website in front of the forum. You should only need standard HTML pages on your site with whatever content you wish to share.
