images with links problem!

Hi..i've got a big problem..

i'm restyling my portal page and i want to make a box with links on the left and new on the center...but i've got a problem with the images.

when i add links to images, i also put border=0, but there is ALWAYS a white line under the image..i'm not able to remove it!

if you want to help me, there is an attachment with the html and the images!

PS: if you look here you can notice that the problem is only with internet explorer..why?
