Constructive criticism welcome, honest opinions please

Hi, I am a co-owner of a brand new forum, and we have only been open about 3 weeks. It is a parenting forum, a place to brag about your kids, share stories, ask for advice, give advice......a place that moms and dads can feel at home and talk about anything. This is how we want our members to feel.

This is the first forum that we have put together, with no prior experience with owning a forum, so at this stage any comments that you feel about our site are welcome.

We have different usergroups setup, and as people climb in posts and time as a member they are automatically promoted to the next level, which opens up the chat box, the gallery, the arcade and some hidden forums.

So, be honest, we can take constructive criticism about what you think could change for the better, and we'd love to hear what things you like about what we've done.

I dont like the logo with photos in it. I use some graphics, not phtots.

I dont like the nav menu with all the sub forums listed [it looks like ur padding ur site out]... way too much info. Just one link to forums.

Its average, needs some work but has potential to be a winner.

agreed with the nav menu. It's really too cluttered. otherwise it's nice. I like the photo graphic, it is different.

Thanks guys for all your input! We are trying to make this stand out over other sites similar to ours, and appreciate all comments!
