Basically put they are the rows within each of the tables.

threadbit is each of the thread rows on the forumdisplay.php page. (Name/Replies/Views e.t.c.)

As Opserty replied.

vBulletin uses *bit names for templates that are repeated. As when showing a thread, this is made up of many posts (each using the postbit template to show the posts data).

Can you guys lend your insight into interpreting what this means.

If you look at this link:
https://vborg.vbsupport.ru/showthrea...t=125654#posts

Can you tell me what is the name of the file he is referring to?

" threadbit template updates
(1) On the very first line, change
"

forumhome_forumbit_level1_post updates
On the second line, change

forumhome_forumbit_level2_post
On the very first line, change

pm_messagelistbit
On the very first line, change

memberlist_resultsbit
change

Initially I thought (1) was forumdisplay.php. But forumdisplay.php does not have any "<tr>" in it

Tx in advance

These are the names of templates found in the styles for the forum. You don't need to edit the actual php files normally for mods, quite often you can get away with just doing template edits etc.

To edit one of your styles log into the AdminCP and go to the Styles & Templates section, click Style Manager then decide which style you wish to edit once you know which u want to change go to the dropdown next to it and choose edit templates. A list of templates will now appear this is where the names mentioned will appear i.e. threadbit etc.

Hope that helps.
