I want to buy some imaging editing software so I can round the corners off on pictures, blend pictures together, etc., in order to create different headers for my forum. Anyone have a good recommendation for imaging software?

Adobe Photoshop is the best, but costs a lot of money... Other than that you could try Corel Paint Shop Pro X.

GIMP is an open source take on Photoshop, you might take a look at that. If you're a student, Adobe gives pretty good discounts - I know we can get CS3 for $200 less than what it retails for.

I went ahead an upgraded my Photoshop, since I already had it. Thanks for the recommendation.
