Giving Close/Open/Delete/Move/Edit Permissions?

Hi,

I made a group called GFX Team on my forum and I want to allow them permissions in the Graphics Requests and Graphics Pickup threads for being able to Edit, Close, Open and Move topics etc for only those two.

How do I go about doing this in the AdminCP?

there might be an easier way if there is someone else write it up but i would do:

admincp=>forums & moderators=>forum manager=>on the right hand side of the forum specified click "go" beside "moderators" add your moderators and change permissions where nessesary

Ok I done Add Moderator then hit Go and im in the permission section but how do I do it with everyone in the GFX Team group without screwing up my moderators?

In your AdminCP, click on forums and moderators. At the bottom of the list, there should be an edit permissions link. That will give you the permissions page to edit your new usergroup and be able to add the following options that you want to give them.

You can modify permissions you give to each moderator per forum. Sadly, vBulletin doesn't allow groups to become moderators, so you will have to add each one manually.

Ok thanks, I just done in manually... I made my moderators super moderators so they moderate all.. and the GFX Team indivdually...

If you don't want the graphics team to be considered "Staff", a.k.a. show on showgroups.php, you can enable them all within the Usergroup Manager.
