I like the style, it's very rich looking.

It's an okay style. I'm not to sure that it fits as a theme for a roleplaying forum but the style isn't bad nor is it great.

Just a few little grievances (default vb stock threadmarkers) could do with being replaced for something a little more custom, something that will fit for a roleplaying theme and the announcements icon (which is vb stock).

I mainly went with a more generalized theme for the forums so that it could be not only easy on the eyes, but also multi-purpose. Some of the role-playing forums I had visited for inspiration were either far too hokey, slow (due to being high infested with large, unoptimized images), or terribly hard to read due to their color schemes.

I'll definitely look into sprucing up the icons.

I totally agree with you there. Alot of roleplaying forums do generally run slow because of the high slice count and the intensive bandwidth usage cause by the graphics. but bare in mind that you can still keep the same look but change the colours around and concentrate on the images being of a roleplaying themed nature so that the images breaking out the look.

I agree with you fully, and thanks again for your reply. Taking out any default images (yuck), as well as any that might seem too "standardized" is quite high on my to-do list.

I like it, good blend of colors, few minor images to tweak from what I could tell in your header, but otherwise for a dark site very pleasing on the eyes

Some very nice aesthetics on your site. Congratulations on making it look inviting.

But it looks a little empty... not content wise, the actual design. Particularly the header.

Since I run an RPing forum, and have been involved in RP for a long time, I figured a comment couldn't hurt. >.>;;

I really like the style, it's dark but not overly contrasted, and the rich colors are easy on the eyes. The only suggestion I have is to liven up the banner area at the top. Having just your name there takes away from the opulence of the rest of the skin. Oh, and 'welcome our newest victim' - HAHAHA! Genius!
