Default Users not receiving e-mail confirmations!

I have 11 "Users Awaiting Email Confirmation" right now. Everyone else has been able to get them but recently it seems I have a bottleneck going on or something. I found this under usergroups after a member who registered e-mailed me saying he never got it!

So he then re-registered with another username and got it. What do you think the problem could be? Is there anyway I can resend them to the 11 pending to make sure they get them?

Or how do I activate them manually?

A) E-mail was mistype
B) User(s) using fake e-mail to register.

This is a common thing and you shouldn't worry about it.

If a user(s) e-mail you on why he/she hasn't receive an e-mail. E-mail them to re-register and make sure he/she type in the e-mail correctly.

Is there anyway to resubmit the confirm to the 11 to make sure they got them?

You can resend the confirmation link. If you get an e-mail automatically (within 4 seconds) it's an invalid e-mail and you'll need to either A)Leave it alone or B)Delete the username...

How do I resend it? Do you know where I go in the VB Control Panel to do that?

  • Log into ACP
  • Click on "Users"
  • Click on "Send Email to Users"
  • Than type your "Subject" and your "Message."
  • Under "Primary Usergroup" make sure only "Users Awaiting Email Confirmation" is the only one check mark.
  • Scroll down and click on "Send" and it'll send an e-mail to "Users Awaiting Email Confirmation" only unless you have check mark on other catagory.

maybe u need a module...my problem like that..i cant solved my problem...but now if member register in my forum,not link activated with email

Thank you! I am at the screen right now and did what you said, in regards to the message it says this:

That is correct.

You can test your self before sending an e-mail to the "Users Awaiting Email Confirmation" usergroups.
