This is very strange, my shoutcast doesnt work anymore. Ever since i upgraded my forum to 3.6.7 the shoutcast doesnt show up as connect when somebody tried connecting. On there program there using to connect (Such as SAM) it says they are connected and if i connect directly to the IP of the server i can listen but it just wont show up on the forum home. I realy dont know what to do about this. I have already tried uninstaling the Shoutcast then reinstaling it but that didnt work. Can anyone help me please?

P.S sorry if iv posted in the wrong section this just seemed like the most appropriate place

It probably means your server has blocked the script from accessing the port, you may have to ask your host to open up the port of your radio for it to work.

Iv been in touch with my host and he he made a test forum and used exactly the same details as there found in my admincp and his shoutcast worked fine. He said he cant help me anymore but said trying reinstaling it or it might be plugins colliding. I have reinstaled it and i disabled every plugin we have instaled 1 at a time and then checked to see if the shoutcast was working after each one. Neither of these worked. Any ideas of what else there is to try? I realy want to get my radio back online

Is his ShoutCast port the same as yours?

i guess so he said it must be something to do with the forum blocking the code but i dont know what to try

Hi, the shoutcast are working until upgrade?, do you chmod shoutcast script on root forum folder?

It works, it's just sometimes the server firewall. Good luck getting them to open it though if your on shared hosting. I coudln't do it.

Thanks for all your help guys. Iv sorted it now at last. It turns out the 'Admin Password' in the admincp options needed to be a different password
