How do I create a completely different forum from a sub forum of my current site?
Currently I have a forum. I want to take one sub forum, say the regional forum. And start another www.regionalforum.com with vbulletin. I can purchase the extra licenses but how do I move just the posts and attachments from the one sub forum to another forum?
Should I backup the entire database, and restore it to a new name and then delete every forum I don't want? I want to keep user registrations in tact if possible. Thanks in advanced for ANY replies. |

That would be the easiest way, copy the full db over, delete the rest of the content you dont want.

I'll search more, but I've tried that, and since they are on the same server, I get the error that it cannot create the database because it already exists. Thanks Snakes.

Then change it so it creates a different database .
