When you connect via FTP to the server make sure you
place all files in the (/..folder.......) folder and make sure you have your homepage named index.html (all lower case). From where i can change homepage name in ,, index.html ???? |

If you're setting up a new forum, do yourself a favor now and upload vBulletin to /forum or /forums. It'll save you time later on if you decide to go with a portal (and most people do).

Where are you reading that? The vbulletin default file is index.php, not index.html. You don't need an index.html on your forum page.
If you're uploading your site into /forums, you'd want an index.html in the root to redirect people to yoursite.com/forums, assuming vB is the only thing you'll be running on the domain. |
