in what file(s) does the BB code live?

Im trying to edit the function of the code tags, to add to it, is there a certain file where i would find where to edit the BB code?

includes/class_bbcode.php and class_bbcode_alt.php, the latter contains wysiwyg and plaintext children of the main class.
