Subforum or other idea
I run a hardware review website with a rapidly growing forums......I need some help/ideas on how to manage something.
I hope this makes sense, because its hard to explain. I want to be able to list companies by component on a separate/sub page.....My thought was a Category called tech support, then have all the different component categories (maybe show as subforums on the mainpage), then in the actual forum, a list of companies under each component with the external link. What would be ideal is to have them taken to the external page without leaving my site, maybe in a frame (I've tried the hacks for that here, they look like garbage). Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated. Thanks http://forums.hardwarelogic.com Anyone? C'mon guys, all this coding and no one has an idea how i can organize this? Is there a way to make one Categories subforum not show up on the forumhome page, and possibly make subforums for those subforums, linking to external sites? |
