Invisible mode option

I have ALL my usergroups set so INVISIBLE option is OFF.

However when a new member signs up they are able to select INVISIBLE mode.

I feel like a mouse in a maze trying to figure this out!

If you can lend some suggestions I would be eternally grateful!
