Help Please
Hi,
I don't know if what I need is a hack or an option in VB . I am quite new to the VB world and as my forum gets busier, it's attracting a lot of spam links. What I am looking for is a way to diasable BB codes for certain user groups when it comes to making posts. I can see the option to do this in 3.6.5 for signatures, but not for posts. If it's a hack I need can someone please point me in the right direction. Thanks |

If you are needed to restrict the use of [url] and [email] for spam purposes.... take a look at this: https://vborg.vbsupport.ru/showthread.php?t=131568
You can't define a usergroup with this one however... I'm sure there are some out here that do. I use this and only this for spam control and it works wonderfully. |
