Allowing users to "hide" a forum
I have a controversial forum on my site that users don't want to come up on their screen while they are at work. Some users would, however, like the option to see it at home, for example, so I am looking for a way to allow my users to sort of turn this forum on and off, so if they don't want to see it, or have it come up in searches or related threads they can switch it off, but they can also switch it back on if they desire.
Does anyone know if there is any modification to do something like this? |

Bummer, I can't get it to work.
I was thinking about usergroups -- what if I create a usergroup that has access to the forum in question -- could they freely join and leave the usergroup as needed for when they want to access the forum and when they don't? |
