I really hope that you can explain why a staff member who is modifying a post is corrupt?
I can not say that i am amused by your reply. |

Sorry but either i don't understand you or you don't make sense.
You see a staff member (me in this case) edit a post, and you make a screenshot and post that in this thread with the text that staff is corrupt? Please explain, because to tell you the truth your remark really pisses me off. |

The membership here acts like they own the joint - like they are shareholders or something. Every single time I see a post like that, or a post QUESTIONING the motives of the people responsible for running this site, it makes me wonder why the site mod's don't get a little harsher on the mob than simply saying "accept it".
I'm sorry, but if someone outright said a member of my staff was corrupt for doing the tasks I assigned them to do, that member would see a few days off - There is a point when constructive criticism becomes destructive, with no place in a community and just flat out abusive. This site is provided as a service. Just because you bought your license from Vbulletin, and this site uses that brand, it gives you no right to sit there and JUDGE those put in place to run it, go back to the .com boards if you want to complain. What ever, just my 2 cents and I am sure the members that think they own this place will jump all over me, but honestly it just makes you look like a joke when you do. |

As for me, I believe that vb.org should implement some type of user rating system for the service request forum. Maybe something similar to eBay?s user rating and user feedback system. I believe this method of tracking and rating users should be a must if the staff continues to allow "Requests for Paid Services." Although I realize that this type of application would take time and money to develop. An alternative to this would be removing the "Requests for Paid Services" forum, which would affect my business quite a bit. When you view the Requests for Paid Services forum, filburt has stickied three very important posts. These should be read carefully and be strongly taken into consideration. If a user requesting for a paid service does not take these threads in consideration, then they are at there own fault. People should take the time to RESEARCH the developer contacting them to see if they are legitimate developers. All in all, people are, for a lack of better words, screwing them self?s over by letting this happen. I myself have posted service requests, and you can be damn sure that I research every person that applies for the position. I understand why everyone?s angry about being ripped off, but the fact is, you didn?t heed the warnings clearly placed on the board for your financially safety. Andrew |
