Subscriptions.. how to setup

yeah, I'm interested in these so called "Subscriptions." I remember months ago, I tried to test one out just getting the feel of how to make one and didn't complete it cuz it didn't work. How do I go about creating one?

My second question is.. what are some good subscriptions and how should I go about it? The niche for my forum is Urban Music and trends and Universal Discussion.. any ideas?
