(How to?) Database Oversized
Hello ...
Please Anywho may help me to reduce my Database size? its now about (125 MB) is there is any way to reduce this size by any way .. with out efficting the numbers of users posts and all forum numbers ( Registred Users - Number of all posts and like that ) ??? Advanced Thanks |

Maybe you could try pruning some logs in the db.
Go into your AdminCP and for each of your Control Panel Log, Scheduled Task Log and Moderator Log under the "Statistics & Logs" block, run a Prune using your desired settings. |

I've do what you say .. but that not effictes with the database size ... after what you say thenI do optimize then repair the size reduced to 128.4 MB ... Any Other Sulution? NOTE: The database was work with phpBB 2.0 .. Converted to VB . Advanced Thanks |

turning of the FULL TEXT SEARCH //might help some times...
like: 6/7 month ago our db size was 62MB. when we trun on the full text search on.DB size reduced to 48MB. dont will work for u or not. |

Your best bet is to find a host who does not have such silly restrictions on the databases you have.
