Code Word
I remember seeing a board where whenever you registered, you had to enter a code word, and it could be acsessible by administrators. Say, the user got locked out of their account, or it got stolen, they go to the administrators, say the code word, and they get the account back. Anyone up to the challenge, or once again, is it already out there?

it is not done yet... but it is completely useless here...
vBulletin let you reset your password when you provide your email when a login is unsuccesful. btw, i just coded something that could be used on this purpose... when you register or change your password, a new key is sent to your email and can be used to identify your last action... if you want to provide this key to the admin as an ID, you can surely... pm me if you want that code *(not free, btw) |
