How do I stop my forums from scaling to browser

Hello,

Currently, my forums scale with the browser. No matter how big or small the user sizes their browser, my forums will adjust to it.

How do I stop this and make it EXACLTY the fixed dimesions of these boards (vbulletin.org). This size boards also look like they'll fit perfect into my joomla template.

What I meant to say is what values should I put in and where, to make it exactly the width of these vbulletin.org message boards?

The first option Main Table Width is what you should change. The standard width for the VB.org forums is 760px. You can put something bigger or smaller in if you'd like.

If I just do that, it doesn't work. If I go to FORUM HOME template and change it indivually, it will change it. However, it will not the rest of the forums (once you click on the link it goes to the next page which will go back to the 100% scaling).

Is there someplace to change it once, and the whole boards throughout stays the same size?

It should work. You must have customized templates that has changed something.

I initially had this installed by someone. Any idea on how I can get it back to it's original state?

If I revert everything to it's original state, will I lose the mods that I've installed?

What are the templates called AFTER the main FORUM HOME template. I can change the widths of those too if I knew what those templates are called.

There's a lot of them unfortunately - you'd be changing a ton of stuff

My advice to you would be to add a new table to your header and footer that encloses everything, and set it to whatever specific width you're looking for. I'll write up the code a bit later if you need it.
