How Do I Split Vbulletin / Photoposts Databases
Background info:
-------------------- Vb version - 2.2.9 (upgrading very soon) PhotoPost version - 3.1.1 (also upgrading very soon) My experience level - Novice Mysql Version - 4.1.21 standard PHP version - 4.4.3 -------------------- There are tons of very experienced folks here so I thought I would see if you can help me out of a jam. I'll soon be upgrading to Vb 3.6.4.. Before I upgrade I would like to split my PhotoPost and Vb databases into two separate databases. Here is how I made my first attempt: 1. Created new database called PhotoPost. 2. Assigned the same Mysql user that access the forums database to the new PhotoPost database with full permissions. 3. Exported all of the PhotoPost tables out of my forum database and into the new PhotoPost database. 4. Edited the PhotoPost config-inc.php file to point towards the new database. I thought it would be that simple, however the screenshot I've attached shows the error I am getting. What am I forgetting to do? There are a lot of smart folks here, I'm sure someone can help. Thanks. Jake |
