Individual User Badges.

Well just to start it off, Im using the awards system but its for rewards and its not what I have in mind for badges, but works perfect for its intended purpose.

Anyways, I want to be able to add individual badges to certain members manually and automatically through promotions. So waht Im wondering is:

How do I edit the postbit to add an individual image for a certain member rather tahn altering all users? The closest I got to being able to accomplish my goal was through Erwin's method located here:

It seems this thread was made 4 years ago so, the script that needed to be added to make a $badge is no longer the same. I hope someone can push me in the right direction. For any of those wondering...what Im trying to accomplish is:

Being able to add a little badge like 88x14 under one's avatar. Also, I want to be able to add more than one badge. But that would be no problem using Erwin's way because I would just make more profile fields and add it again in the script using more field IDs. I just need to learn what I need to edit to be able to call $badge in my postbit.

Specific users really. Kinda how Erwin was explaining it with adding a hidden postbit field and then putting in the image when they got the badge. Also to do some template changes so the x doesnt appear. Im wondering what templates Id need to change to do that.

Well actually, it seems to be working on my forum without having to do any template changes for now. I just added a hidden profile field and then inserted this:

<img src=$post[fieldx]>

replacing the x with the number of the profile field and then put in the image and it worked flawlessly. Well for now at least. ^_^
