Rep Power question
I'm hoping this is possible. Some of my forum members wanted negative reputation rather than positive, but as they get more negative reputation, it's decreasing their rep power. Is there a hack that can fix that or a way I can change the calculation system so that they get reputation power the same way my positive reputation people do? Thanks in advance!

hmmm, are you displaying the images or just the rep count as text/numbers?
I'm thinking that there might be a messy way around it, but if you want to use the red/green images in the profile and postbit then it's not going to be possible without a full modification. I'm not sure if the messy way I have in mind would work, but it might be possible - the only thing is that it would need to use text but you could have it red or green for positive and negative. |

I've got the extended reputation hack installed, so my negative rep members get red circles that go purple, then blue as their rep decreases, and my positive members have green circles and so forth. It's not the jewels that are the problem, it's that the # of rep points they can give decreases as their rep does. Meaning, one of my members just hit -300 rep points, and she lost a point of rep-giving power. I need a way to change that.
If it helps, you can see the problem here: http://www.cipher-wotr.com/forum/sho...?t=331&page=17 If you compare the post counts and # of jewels for the people with red circles versus the people with green, you can see the difference in their rep power. I have my reputation system set so that they get another jewel for every 150 rep points. For the negative reputation people, that means they lose a rep-giving point for every -150 rep points. |

you know what, lets just do this the really, really easy way!
Why not set the rep power changing for rep points to require 10,000,000 rep points and then just have it going off post count and time registered. That way the rep power wont go down as the rep points do. |
