What is the modification, used on this site, that lets you, if submitting a modification, to have that special kind of first post that's more like an article rather than a post. (Example: https://vborg.vbsupport.ru/showthread.php?t=131706 ) I really would like to know what that is called.

The one that we use here is custom for this site.

However, you can achieve a similar thing by using the first post on every page mod (I think it's in the 3.5.x category but a search in titles only should bring it up easily) and then modifying the template to your requirements.
