interesting question/your thoughts please
ok, i dont no if this can be done.
but what i would like todo is have 2 forums running off the same server and same domain name. eg: main forum- http://www.forumcentral1.com/ second forum- http://www.forumcentral1.com/forum.php And have the second one linked forum the 1st forum. And also make it that if anyone joins the 1st forum they also become a member of the 2nd forum. now i no they need to be ran off the same data base. But the question is, "Is this possable" please? And is there some kind of hack that links both sites on the 1 data base. please this is very important to me, helpfull answers would be great thanks. If you have any other idears to have a second section for a forum that doesnt involve uploading a hole nother forum would be great thanks. |

Yes its possible.
1. You'll need 2 vBulletin liscenses 2. It wont be forum.php. it'll have to go in its own seperate folder like /forums 3. there is a hack floating around here somewhere, that explains to you what needs changed for it. |
