Okay, I need to have an image at the top of my client's forum page that gives it the rough edge appearance and I also need a 2 pixel border around the page. So I added the following code:
background-image: url('http://www.mypage.com/images/Myimage_04.jpg'); background-repeat: no-repeat; border: 2px solid #000000; into the "Style Manager, Page Background - Extra CSS Attributes" and everything looks great until you click on quick reply & members list as you can see in the attached images. So can anyone explain how I can edit the quick reply and members list areas not to repeat the "Page Background - Extra CSS Attributes" data? Thanks for any help you can offer. |

fix your links and i'll try to help.
Unless of course its suppose to look like a Forbidden 403 Error page, in which case you've done a excellent job at ![]() |

try to remove that code, and do this.
In your spacer_open template find Code:
<div class="page" style="width:$stylevar[outerdivwidth]; text-align:$stylevar[left]"> Code:
<div class="page2" style="width:$stylevar[outerdivwidth]; text-align:$stylevar[left]"> Code:
.page2 { background-image: url('http://www.mymedallioncatering.com/images/Myimage_04.jpg'); background-repeat: no-repeat; border: 2px solid #000000; } |

Well,
I gave that a try and it removed the rough edged image from the very top, left the borders and let the green background show through, unfortunately that did not work. But it did seem to be in the right direction. I Then attempted the following: "spacer_open" template: <div class="page" style="width:$stylevar[outerdivwidth]; text-align:$stylevar[left]"> <div class="page2" style="width:$stylevar[outerdivwidth]; text-align:$stylevar[left]"> CSS>Additional CSS: .page { background-image: url('http://mypage.com/images/bckart.jpg'); } .page2 { background-image: url('http://www.mypage.com/images/Myimage_04.jpg'); background-repeat: no-repeat; border: 2px solid #000000; } But this did not effect it either. Any other suggestions? Thanks! Well, I worked on this about four hours and finally gave up, but if anyone has a fix for it, please let me know. I'd still like to implement this into the forum. Thanks |
