MySpace type of PM notification ?? PLZ HELP !

Hi everyone .

I want to know if there is a modification when someone gets a PM , instead of it saying" Unread X " it would say " New Messages ! " in a small bold red font right next to " Private Messages " .

For example :

When " New Messages ! " is clicked , it goes to your PM's and automatically marks all PM's as read , just like myspace .

Can anyone do this or has it been done ???
