Ok, so it's not Freudian or any other sort of philosophy...NOT chat about vB but chat about boards in general.
Is that Ok here?

I see pros and cons to the options of Mods & Supermods visibility and user title...

The choices:
Invisible and User Title shows same as other users.
Invisible but User Title shows "Moderator".
Visible and Title shows same as other users.
Visible and Title shows "Moderator".

Forum-Philosophy wise, which do you prefer? And I'd love to hear your "why's" also if you'd add that.

What's the difference between User Title and Title? I'm for full visibility.

Both are meant to be "User Title".

For an alternative opinion, see here.

My experience is that being "fully" visible attracts PMs that should otherwise be posted to the forum (forum help questions, complaints about posts, etc.).

And btw, I've been "invisible" (Profile feature) since becoming a SuperMod :surprised:
