My site is based on Snowmobiling and ATV's, I would like the Snowmobile Part of the site to have Snowmobiles for the forum read/unread icon and then the ATV forum I would like to have ATV's as I have in the complete site.. you can designate a forced style which uses different buttons within any section.

the option is within the forum setup section of your AdminCP... just force a new style with the images you want. disallow users to change it.

What I want to do is in the snowmobile forum only, not the general or not the atv.

First, create separate folders for each of the icon sets you wish to use. Next, create child styles of your forum and edit the folder setting for the icons.
Then, in the ACP, look for Forums & Moderators > Forum Manager. Click [Edit Forum] "Go" next to the forum you wish to edit. Look for "Style Options" and select the child style that you wish to use specifically for that forum and set it to override the user's style choice. |

You have the forum icons properly changed but the thread icons are still the default...
you need to update them as well in the different style folders. Check out my site to see the effect.....the Clemson and South Carolina forums are both set up to display specific styles...(www.palmettostaterivals.com) |

I see that, but we were trying to get the main forum menu only to do that the " Snowmobile discussion and information forum" menu on the main page to do that. I see on a subforum but in the main??
