I agree with Greg.

The colors don't go together, the header images are blurry and chopped, the header text is too pixelized, and most every image has whitespace around it...

Since your playing with some design you should mix it up a bit maybe a Football theme, Nascar theme ect.

That you have there is kinda funky the blues on that clay isnt very attractive but with the right touch of texture the background could look like a basketball then change the cells to match a bit.
