I'm in the process of upgrading currently and the news modification i've been using on my site was this one:

Problem i'm faced with is i've little programming knowledge and I dont think the author is going to be upgrading this at all.

Is there any similiar to this or anyone that would be willing to give a hand? I've got basic php skills, and that's about it.
