I have been hacked!
My forum was hacked but I got lucky I only had to restore the index to get my site back. My question is this:
is there a mod that can log the ip of anyone in the admin area? also is there a mod that logs brute force attacks to the mod area? i have contacted the FBI already to take action becuase this is the 3rd time byt the same kid becuase he always leaves his name and tag on my index. any help to keep from getting hacked is appreciated |

FBI? uhh, try telling vb.com your story and see what they say
In your adminCP left side at the bottom there is something called Statistics & Logs and view Control Panel Log |

If someone is getting in because of weak password generation, I really don't have much sympathy. Ensure the server and software are kept up to date and use passwords that are a combination of alphanumeric characters. If it's in the dictionary, it has no business being used as a password.
