I am real new here I am embarassed to say I couldnt successfully do a screen print as in it doesnt allow me to attach it.... sorry.
That said anyone taking a look at my forum/website and giving me some tips on changing it would be greatly appreciated. I only require that you are constructive and honest. Its easy to say you may not like it but I need to know why. Thanks and your help is very very much appreciated! http://www.ibwo.net/forum/ |

It appears you have the vbulletin default header ( ie the image that says vbulletin) and your new header ( the purple area) this is causing your forums to be pushed down past the menu.I see you are using subdreamer is their an option to disable the vbulletin header in that software? If not go into your vbulletin default style find the header template and remove this code:
Code:
<table border="0" width="$stylevar[outertablewidth]" cellpadding="0" cellspacing="0" align="center"> <tr> <td align="$stylevar[left]"><a href="$vboptions[forumhome].php$session[sessionurl_q]"><img src="$stylevar[titleimage]" border="0" alt="$vboptions[bbtitle]" /></a></td> <td align="$stylevar[right]"> </td> </tr> </table> |

it is too small, make the left navigation a horizontal nav at the top of the page and expand the forums the width of a screen

I like the idea mate but I kind of like the navigation bars to be at the left hand of the screen for visual appeal. Surely there is a way to do this so that vbulletin then becomes the width of the screen. hmmm... If it isnt possible then I will have to figure something else out. Any more suggestions? Thanks! Thanks so much. I am beginning now to wonder if it isnt as MK3Design said in the above post that the side navigation bars that are making it compact so small. If so if I could tell the template to keep vbulletin a bit lower than the navigation bars then perhaps it would stretch vbulletin to a full page where I would like it. |
