Actually, I changed the default skin back to the blue and white. The one that is scarry is probably the grey and black skin.

Does anyone have any suggestions on what I should do about a skin?

i like the idea of the forum. i had a great political discussion category in one of my forums once but it got too heated so it had to go. i miss a good debate every once in a while. i would suggest smaller avatars or a smaller maximum size cause huge avatars are an eye-sore IMO... unless your forum in graphic-related maybe.
