how do you know the keylogger is gone

i found a keylogger on my computer i have no idea how long its been there but i think i got rid of it how do i know for sure and how do you get key loggers

In my experience it's usually put there by someone who at some point has been trusted with private access to your computer. I doubt it's come via the internet.

Well some of them can send out the data it logs, so it could be anyone. If you know the name of it, do some searching on google to find what the process or service is called, then you can ensure that it's not running. I'm sure you could also find some in-depth removal instructions.

Personally I use Advanced System Optimizer and it removes them real quick. What folder did you remove it from?

so out of no where norton picks up i have a key logger and its been there for 5 months my acounts 5 months old i have been hacked 12 times so far and they finaly stoped i don't remember the file i just know loseing 36mil total to and all my items just cus i didn't know what a key logger was or how to stop it now that i have norton will they stop comeing

Norton sucks to be honest. It may have removed it very hard to say. Try Advanced System Optimizer I think they have a free trial. If its still on your pc that will pick it up. Get a good Firewall and Antivirus

Use a free cleaner called CCLEANER its a very good program and its free
