Hi, I've been messing around with my forum to try and customise it to specifically what I need. Part of this customisation (believe it or not) is to remove the forum-listings from the forumhome page.
I've done this because the forum is split into two main sections, and rather than having all the forums for both sections listed on one page, I'm using the forumdisplay page to list them... as below: http://theice.co.uk/forumdisplay.php?f=1 http://theice.co.uk/forumdisplay.php?f=3 Now I've already removed the relevent html from the forumhome template so that the forums won't list (as you can see from http://theice.co.uk/index.php), but I know that everytime someone goes to that page, it's going to generate the list anyway, just not display it.... which I feel is a waste of resources.. so (getting to the point) I'm looking to edit whatever file needs to be edited, to prevent vB from processing the forum-list data (i.e. just comment it out). Can anyone help point me in the correct direction please? Thank you ![]() |
