I just opened this last night

What do you think of the style?

What improvements could I make?

Thanks!

Overall I really like the style but am unsure about the burgandy background. The transistion between the black background >>> burgandy background looks a little off to me and I would opt for another colour. Keep the black though because that looks nice against the white and red colours you've opted for.

Because one of the main colours you've implemented is red any vbulletin stock images are going to look awfull against this nice style. Ensure that you replace the default vbulletin stock images because the blue really doesn't complement this style.

I noticed you re-coloured the although this looks a little better it still doesn't compliment the style. Definetely go with something custom, something that will compliment this style. Again, for consistencies sake I would suggest when you re-colour matching sets implement it to all the images >> .

The images located in the What's Going On? should also be changed for something custom as they don't look that great against this type of style, more importantly, they don't suit the colours you implemented.

Overall, I really like were this style is going and with a few changes and some custom replacements you'll have a really nice looking style.

Nice work.

Nice improvement.

Normally, I don't really care for re-coloured stock VB images though I like the re-coloured images in the What's going on? area.

The only thing I can suggest is change/redesign the Lastpost.gif image. Dunno if it's just me but I think the design and colour throws things off and doesn't look consistent with the other newly added modified images.

Nice work and nice style.
