Need help - no page collapse
I?m a full rookie when it comes to forums.
I spent the last few hours figuring things out to create a forum for a new site I purchase. They had a phpBB2 forum but it was filled with spam and had not been mod so I just deleted and figured I?d launch a new one. My forum is located at www.stacksback.com/forum I can?t for the life of me figure out how to make the page no collapse when minimized. I would like everything to be in a fix width ? As it is right now the forums content gets all squished together real small when the window is made small. I don?t want that. How do I make everything a fixed width? Thanks. |

I'd like to help you out, but i have clue what you mean or are looking for regarding the "make the page no collapse when minimized?"
Also when you make it a fixed width, its going to be "like the window is smaller" anyway, and squish everything together. But heres how to do it. AdminCP -> Styles and Templates -> All Style Options -> Main table width Simply edit that number in either percentage or pixels. Since you're header is 912px wide, you may consider making it a fixed width of 912px |

Thanks very much it worked.
Im on 3.6.0 (not sure if that makes a difference). I had tried changing the Main table width to 912px several times and nothing happened. The default was listed as 100% but the other items below it used the format of: XXXpx. Anyways it worked now when I entered 912 rather than 912px.(strange) Thanks for pointing me to the right location, after having tried this spot several times I went looking a ton of other places. |
