Hello,
I have a quick question about plugins before upgrading to vb3.6. Do I need to uninstall my existing plugins before I upgrade, and then install the new versions after the upgrade? Can I upgrade VB, and then upgrade the plugins that I use when I'm done? If I take the first route, will I loose my plugin preferences? What's the best way for me to upgrade my vbulletin without causing any problems? I'm OK with doing more work if it reduces the likelyhood of me running into problems. -Raymond |

you may want to disable your plugins..
most should be aright, you may look in the 3.6 section and see if the plugins have been ported yet |

You should not uninstall them because you will lose any custom settings you have made. If you want to be safe then you can disable them, and re-enable them afterwards. As Loco.M says - you may find many have been updated and posted in the 3.6 section. You may also find fixes for 3.6 compatability in some mods 3.5 threads.

Also, if you have any warning modifications installed, you need to remove them before upgrading as they cause conflicts with the infactions system due to the tables that they create. Removing a warning modification after upgrading to 3.6 deletes the warnings tables that are used for the infractions system and causes database errors.
