Email Submission Form Help
I need to add a form to vB (3.5.4) where users enter data into a few fields, hit submit and the info gets emailed to me. I have one made up in php that works fine in HTML but doesn't in vB. I was told by vB support that "you can't add php code to a template as the code isn't parsed." Can anyone help me out with this?
thanks in advance, jawinn |

Jawinn,
Have you looked at the 3.5.4 modifications? Abe1 made a brilliant form hack which does exactly what you want it to do. It's called FORMS HACK i think. You just install the xml file, the user goes to http://xxxx.newthread.php?do=form and then there's your custom form. You can have it post the response to a forum, e-mail a user, or PM somebody. Pretty cool. |
