I'm having some issues with forums marked as read.
I will fiew a forum, and see all threads... then I go back to forum index, and it says that the forum was stil not read. How could I have a forum marked as read once I view the thread list, regardless of if I view each new thread? |

Most likely a setting regarding how your forum Marks Threads Read. Check your vB Options.

What SHOULD I put it as to get the actions I want?

I use Database Marking, otherwise it's set by a cookie -- so everytime you clear your cookies the threads you actually read, aren't marked as such.

Use the automatic or not automatic marking?
I read the little help blurb but I still don't COMPLETELY follow the difference between the two... |

I believe automatic marking marks all the unread threads read after you read the last new post. Non-automatic marking requires that users view each new thread before each is marked as read.
I use No Automatic Marking. |
