Alright, well, I recently updated my site to vB 3.6 RC2 and wanted to install a few hacks to the website that in theory should be compatible with both 3.5 and 3.6.
However, for some unknown reason, the database doesn't like reading phrases from the products. It'll load the templates, the system data but not the phrases and this has been frusterating me. Any suggestions on how I can get over this problem without manualing inputting the phrases? (because there are too many for manual input) |

What hacks are you trying to install? I've installed several 3.5 hacks on my 3.6 and they've loaded their phrases.

vbCash and the RPG Interigation Hack. Since the whole "phrasetypeid" thing isn't working, I imported the product instead of using the install of the product and just ran through the rest of the install.
So it should be working. And it does, it works perfectly on both except no phrases exist. Maybe I have a strange copy of vBulletin. |

You have add all the extra phrase data to the product xml.
Basically, they added the date, username, version attributes to the phrase element in the product xml. To make it easy, just copy the date="" username="" version="" bit from one of the templates in the xml file and copy it to all the phrases. I would change the version to the latest version of the product though. So instead of PHP Code:
