Is there a hack or what ever for 3.6rc1 that moved post bit content from the left to the top of the posts?

This is toggled by an option in the admin control panel.
Go to vBOptions > Styles and Language Settings > Use Legacy (Vertical) Postbit? Yes shows iton the left like here, No shows it on the top like at vB.com |

And you can make the choice a UserOption.
You can make the Postbit selectable using this method: How To Make the Postbit a User Option http://www.vbulletin.com/forum/showthread.php?t=101577 And there is a plug-in available here: Easy Postbit Switcher https://vborg.vbsupport.ru/showthread.php?t=91620 If you use this second option, you only need one style and an "option" Radio Button choice is given to your users in the UserCP to select one or the other. Remember to edit the right template if you do that though, for the legacy postbit you have to use the postbit_legacy template ( jeez I hope it is still like that in 3.6 :P )

3.6 still uses postbit and postbit_legacy (or at least it has done through the betas and RC's so far)

Do any of you modders want to take up the cause to get this ported into a vB 4.0+ mod?
Please? |
