I want new post notifications to contain the link to the actual post rather than to the first page of the thread. I tried replacing part of the original phrase:
Code:
Hello, $bbuserinfo[username] has just posted in the $foruminfo[title] forum of $vboptions[bbtitle] under the title of $threadinfo[title]. This thread is located at $vboptions[bburl]/showthread.php?threadid=$threadinfo[threadid] Here is the message that has just been posted: *************** $post[message] *************** Code:
Hello, $bbuserinfo[username] has just posted in the $foruminfo[title] forum of $vboptions[bbtitle] under the title of $threadinfo[title]. $postinfo[title] $vboptions[bburl]/showthread.php?postid=$postinfo[postid]#post$postinfo[postid] Here is the message that has just been posted: *************** $post[message] *************** |

The default phrase contains a link that takes you to your first unread post in that thread.
I suggest reverting the phrase and trying it again. If you have email notification enabled for here, you will notice that you were brought to this post through the link and not to the first post of the thread. |

Do I have to mention the ACTUAL outcome again? Go back to my first message:
